Checker’s Bacon Cheddar Crunch

I shutter to calculate how many calories is in the Checker’s Bacon Cheddar Crunch, but the first time I sunk my teeth into the oozing cheddar sauce (probably a million calories), onions, and chopped bits of bacon, I instantly fell in love. It wasn’t until the next time I attempted to recreate the same experience a couple days later that I learned the love affair was short lived. Maybe something in the back of my head said the overall outcome of the Checker’s Bacon Cheddar Crunch wasn’t worth the $1 spent.
For me, the hamburger primarily differs from their competitors because they use chopped red onions and small chunks of bacon instead of a limp blanket of bacon. Basically, if you don’t want to know how many calories is contained in a particular item, it’s probably dangerous to your diet and you know deep down inside that you’re playing waistline roulette. Overall, the burger was an experience. We don’t have a Checker’s in my neck of the woods and it was good the first time around, but failed to rouse a repeat performance.
