Culinary Teas

Over the years, I’ve learned how to savor the differences in green, red, white, rooibos, black, and herbal teas – and regularly sample the assortment offered at Culinary Teas. My absolute favorite is Summer Punch Green Rooibos, which fills the room with the most amazing scent of fruitiness.
I also enjoy their herbal concoctions like Cranberry Apple Herbal Tea, which offers chunks of dried apple, sweet orange peel, hibiscus petals, and rosehip chips. The website states that this combination makes a decent mulled wine base when cloves and cinnamon are added.
From Elderberry Tea to Bourbon Street Vanilla Rooibos – there is definitely something for everyone. I’m a frequent customer and have just earned free shipping – an honor that comes after every 4th order.
While the gourmet tea selection is impressive, this online shop also offers other tea-related selections, including tea timers, honey sticks, blackberry marmalades, and dessert servers. Other highlights include Featured Products at bargain prices, periodic discounts on select brews, and an awesome Clearance section that allows you to sample for less.
Licorice Root Tea
My first time sampling licorice root tea and I am pleased! Thanks Culinary Teas for a wonderful first impression. The brew is sweet yet sassy – if that makes any sense. Out of curiosity, I took a piece of the tea and chewed it. Wasn’t too bad but definitely tasted like it would give you a stomachache if you made it a habit. All in all – really smooth tea. A brief round of research also reveals that licorice contains components that act as an anti-depressant and also heal the mucous membranes found in the digestive tract.
