New York & Company – My Card Extras Program
Posted on Friday, January 14th, 2011
Not only is New York & Company one of the few places that have clothing that really fits me, but the store now has a new bonus program if you have a NYCO credit card – My Card Extras. For only $6.95 per month, you get tons of savings. I was reluctant at first to sign on, but I’m definitely going to get my use out of the discounts and freebies.
Highlights of the Program
For starters, you get a $25 Restaurant.com credit every month. This alone is worth the card if you ask me – that’s saving $300 per year! You also get one free MP3 download of premium music per month, along with five free downloads of independent music.
The day after signing up for My Card Extras, I got a Buy 1, Get 1 Free Personal Pan Pizza from Pizza Hut and the offer is for unlimited uses. All I did was print out my coupon and take it to the restaurant. My Card Extras offers savings on local eateries, such as Domino’s Pizza, Domino’s Pizza, Burger King, Arby’s, and other special offers. The discounts you receive are tailored to your zip code, but you can also take advantage of the savings when you are traveling!
I’m a movie buff, but have slowed down going to theaters with “regular” prices because they are expensive. With My Card Extras, I get reimbursed 50% of my movie ticket costs up to $20 per month. All I have to do is pay with a credit card and keep my receipt. To get reimbursed, simply send in the receipt and your credit card statement as proof, and you will get a check in the mail. For me, the savings are worth the hoops you have to jump through to get your check.
My Card Extras even offers roadside protection up to three times per year. If I had a driver’s license then I would most certainly love to have tow service, vehicle lock-outs, vehicle jump starts, battery service, tire changes, gas delivery, and much more (they will pay up to $100 per call) – better than AAA if you ask me.
Do you have a New York & Company credit card?
You should definitely take advantage of this program if you do.
