Ollie’s Bargain Outlet provides shoppers with a ‘Good Stuff Cheap’ atmosphere to purchase plenty of your favorite products (and some you haven’t discovered yet) at discounted and closeout prices. I never know what I’ll find there, but usually, I leave the store with spices, coffees, and snacks I’m excited to try for the first time. I often buy doubles of the things that really catch my eye…because you never know if it will be available on your next visit.
As an artist and art lover, I caught an out-of-place glimpse of Vincent Van Gogh’s ‘Starry Night’ (one of my favorite paintings) and Leonardo da Vinci’s ‘Mona Lisa’ as I passed through the household cleaning section of Ollie’s. I instantly fell in love with the eye-catching designs of I Can’t Believe It’s a Sponge scratch-free scrubber sponges. with paying homage to two of the greatest artists in history.
Equipped with Inviso-Shield™, the sponges have a protective barrier that’s supposed to keep grease, grime and other particles from getting in. The scrub-side texture feels like something between sand paper and the gel used to preserve flowers. Overall, the all-purpose sponges are made to stay cleaner for a longer period of time…and look good doing so. I wouldn’t mind having them decorate my kitchen sink, but I just can’t stand the thought of actually using them…for now, at least.
These sponges are a made-in-the-USA product, and come in packs of two. Both sponges in a pack feature a different themed design that may include kitchen tools, spices, or flowers. You can even contact I Can’t Believe It’s a Sponge to design your own themed sponges to support, celebrate or represent a small business, company, college or university – how cool!
What do you think of these sponges?
When I first saw the sponges, I said, “Wow!” – thinking you had painted on them yourself! 🙂 But they are still amazing in appearance, and really, who would have believed you could create such artwork on sponges?! I wonder if you could suggest or do some of your own artistic designs, as you mentioned at the end of the post?
