Quaker Soft Baked Oatmeal Cookie – Banana Nut

Posted on Saturday, August 11th, 2012

I have to say that the Banana Nut Quaker Soft Baked Oatmeal Cookie is one of the freshest-tasting packaged cookies I have sampled to date. Seriously, the softness paired with the tasty ingredients is a real treat that packs quite a healthy punch. While rushing through Walmart, I fell victim to the end-cap tease that usually highlights new products, and I am so pleased that I did. I brought home a box and my sweetie devoured two as well.

Highlights of the oatmeal cookie are:

  • Gritty, oatmeal cookie texture – made with whole grain Quaker Oats
  • Soft yet solid feel to the cookie – wasn’t a crumbly mess
  • Tastes like fresh bits of banana
  • Crisp crunch of pecans

I wish this cookie were slightly bigger – only because I don’t want the goodness to end.

One box contains six inner packs of a single cookie.

There are four other flavors in the line of Quaker Soft Baked Oatmeal Cookies: Cranberry & Yogurt, Raisins, Apples & Cinnamon, and Chocolate Almond.
