Seagram’s Escapes Wine Coolers

Posted on Friday, June 15th, 2012

There were literally six display bins filled with single bottles of Seagram’s Escapes wine coolers at my local grocery store. I wanted to take a picture so badly because it looked like a produce section for fruity alcohol – right in front of the “fish market” – but too many people would have seen me snapping a picture and it would have made me feel…awkward.

For $1 per bottle, I scooped up four different flavors. Who can resist a wine cooler called Jamaican Me Happy (a blend of guava, lemon, strawberry and watermelon)? This deal was extremely perfect for me because I like to sample different flavors, but don’t want to commit to purchasing an entire 6-pack. Apparently, this looks like a summer deal because I’ve noticed this bin of wine coolers at Walmart too.

Flavors include Strawberry Daiquiri , Calypso Colada (pineapple and coconut – yum!), Mango, Black Cherry Fizz, Peach Fuzzy Navel, and Watermelon Splash (really tasty).

I really want to try the Apple Pomegranate Mimosa – I think that will taste really good, but I haven’t seen that flavor in my area.

Seagram’s Summer Escapes wine coolers have an alcohol percentage of 3.2% and are 150 calories per 12-ounce bottle. They are fruity and sweet – perfect for a summertime gatherings, like picnics, campouts and BBQs.
