As a member of Influenster, I get a chance to review some pretty fun and incredibly useful products. There have been times where I’ve found a new ‘favorite’ or tried something that I wouldn’t normally purchase. Influenster is a program/community that allows you to share your opinions about products you love and hate, all while having opportunities to try out and sample something new, just released, or exclusive. This past month, I received their Goddess Voxbox.
Inside the Goddess Voxbox were the following contents:
Downy Fresh Protect with In-Wash Febreze Odor Defense
First of all, I love items that incorporate Febreze because I think it’s one of the best-working product lines on the market. Downy Fresh Protect is meant to act like ‘deodorant for your clothes.’ Working to neutralize bad odors, pink pellets deliver 24-hour, motion-activated odor protection. The scent pellets come in a small pouch that you toss in at the beginning of a wash (the pellets, not the entire pouch). Downy Fresh Protect comes in April Fresh scent, and it really smells fresh. I could also smell the scent in the air as the clothes were washing…it’s noticeable…in a good way. After drying my clothes, I could still smell the freshness, and from wearing the clothes, the product works as described.
Dickinson’s Enhanced Witch Hazel Alcohol-Free Hydrating Toner
Dickinson’s Enhanced Witch Hazel Toner is made with Hyaluronic Acid and Vitamin E, which works together to hydrate, cleanse, refresh, nourish, and tone the skin. The tonier feels good on the skin, and has a really pleasant, rose-like scent. When using it, I experienced a cleansing effect.
Pantene Expert Intense Hydration Shampoo & Conditioner
Made using one of Pantene’s ‘most concentrated Pro-V formulas,’ this shampoo and conditioner combination is meant to generate ‘intense hydration’ for dry hair. It smells nice, but I haven’t had a chance to use it because my hair hasn’t been dry lately.
Always Radiant with FlexFoam
I have currently abandoned tampons (due to developing a fear of Toxic Shock Syndrome), and was pleased to see sanitary pads included in the Goddess Box. Always Radiant is a line of pads made with a ‘FlexFoam’ material meant to absorb 10 times its weight. Thin and flexible, the pads are supposed to make you feel comfortable as you wear anything, including skinny jeans and little black dresses. The cushioning that they provide is noticeable, as is the brightly-colored packaging.
SinfulColors Nail Polish
I am not that adventurous when it comes to my nail polish colors, but I will say that the shade of limited time Cheshire China Porcelain Matte that I received in the Goddess Box really grew on me – it’s not as flashy or in-your-face as I thought it would turn out. This nail color is part of the Kylie Jenner collection, and represents a current nail trend. The polish dried quickly and very nicely on my nails. I also like that this is a Made in USA product.
Cutex Advanced Revival Nail Polish Remover Pads
A few individually wrapped packets of Cutex’s portable nail polish remover were included in the Goddess Box, which are ready for travel, as well as TSA-compliant. They contain botanical oils that help strengthen and nourish nails. This small pad is marketed as being enough to erase the polish from 10 fingers or toes. Did it perform as stated? Yes, one pad took care of 10 toenails like a champ. The pads are noticeably thicker and ‘juicy’ – saturated with more than enough nail polish remover to accommodate your needs.
Ebates was also a part of the program, and thanks to Influenster, I learned that I was not a member…I could have sworn that I was. Anyways, it is free to sign up, and if you use their site to make select online purchases, you receive cash back in return. There are also opportunities on Ebates to refer a friend and earn credits.
What is your favorite product from the Goddess VoxBox?
Disclosure: I received the Goddess Voxbox from Influenster, and my participation in sharing my thoughts on the products included in the box qualifies me to earn prizes and other fun stuff. My opinions are 100% my own.
